We know what songs work at weddings and when to play them.
The musicians in HOT DAMN! have each spent the better part of a decade playing weddings and functions around Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the east coast of NSW.
We formed by combining two wedding bands (Colour Theory and Aubrey) to create a “super band”!
You love music, we love music, but agreeing on the “number one dance floor song” can incite family feuds to say the least, so leave that to us.
Give us a few favourites, a few you can’t stand and anything important. We use that, plus years of watching actual dance floors, to build the night rather than asking you to programme the whole thing.
Jake, who you’ll deal with from enquiry through to the gig, is also a saxophonist who studied at the Conservatorium and teaches woodwind for a living. Sax is available with the band, and we can expand further with a horn section when you want the bigger version of HOT DAMN!
Yes, We travel
Based in Newcastle, HOT DAMN! can perform anywhere in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney and broader NSW — and further if the gig makes sense. Ceremony music is available, as is MCing for an additional fee, and we keep music going between sets. Check your date today and we can give you a quote specifically for your venue.
